"Tess" Family Robinson

I have to say I love my "job"! Taking pictures of children is such a joy and I can honestly say is something I wake up wanting to do everyday! It makes it so much fun when I have such great kids (which they all have been)!!!!! I had a session with another 2nd grader, Miss Blondie Tess, on such a great morning! What a daredevil she is too, climbing way up in this cool tree and hanging by one arm! Wow! She was not only a COOL tomboy- finding this cool clam in the river, but a little cutie too ;-) I hope you all enjoy your photos from this great day and it was so nice meeting you both! Bye for now... and hold on tight!

It seems that all my kiddos resemble somebody lately...and Tess, reminds me of a young Kelly Preston (John Travolta's wife)

Miss Riley and Grandpop's Dumptruck

Riley, who will be going into the 2nd grade, was a natural in front of my camera! She did so well, even with her little brother- they were really sweet with one another! I had so much fun on this shoot (as always) and I cannot wait for you to see your photos. It was so good seeing you all after meeting while on my shoot with Danielle......your family is beautiful and what a place to be a kid in your own backyard...lucky little ones there!

Again...she reminds me of Claudia Schiffer......

Together and Happy!

This brother and sister actually liked sitting side by side and holding hands- it was very cute- there was a lot of love there between the two. And what cutie-patooties- if that is a word...wink, wink! I hope you enjoy your photos!

Mr. Drew and the Bee

Poor Drew.....he got stung by a bee while we were taking pictures.....what a sport he is...he was fine after Mom put some ice on his arm and gave him boo-boo kisses! This 3 year old was such a good boy, and did so well with big sis Riley........
This was my first picture from my session- I love it!

Tickle Monster (Jenn) vs. Alan

Most 4 year olds run away from you when they hear..."I'm going to tickle you".....not Alan- he wanted me too....I would say it and he would run to me and laugh- it was too cute- and it got him to smile! He was such a good boy and sure loves his Mom....making sure she had some pretty yellow flowers. I hope to do more photos of this flirt ;-) I am still working on them and will have them in a couple of days, but wanted to put some up on my blog so you could see them.......
Ok, is it just me, or does this shot remind of you of Joey from Friends...saying "how you doing?" ;-)

We won't tell anyone you were scared of the tracker ;-)

I love this picture- great smile Mr. Grayson!!!!!
Drago flying off for a bit- but he came right back to Grayson- it was really sweet!
I might add that Grayson found a dragon fly on this shoot and had it with him the whole time- he named it "Drago".....you will have to let me know if he made it home.......

Farmer Mark in Cashton, Wisconsin

Wow- this part of the Country is BEAUTIFUL! Since the reunion was in a town with a population of 1005, there were so many dairy farms and Amish towns along the way - I was dying to snap some photos! Since you are not allowed to take photos in/of an Amish town (they are offended)...I begged my hubby to pull over at one of the dairy farms and ask if I could take some photos of Mark running around. Farmer Jim, was kind enough to allow me to snap some...but not near his equipment for fear Mark would hurt himself and I so understand- that is some serious equipment! He also warned us of the "farm dogs", but with 200 acres- I thought they would never find us-ha! We were able to get some on his property where he grew his corn, etc...but after a couple of minutes, the dogs found us and when I turned around and 6ft tall me was eye to eye with one we packed up and left. All it took was one growl and we were out of there! I was so excited to see these and how they turned out- I wish I had more time there to play around with my camera...... Next time I know to bring some dog treats and a steak ;-)Thanks Farmer Jim! I have a better understanding and appreciation for our Farmers'.......

Poor Mark and all his "booboo's" this weekend. He had all kinds of cousins chasing him around and he fell like crazy- but tough Mark, just got up each and every time and came back for more ;-) Mark now points and says "what's this" and "what's that"....so he was in heaven with all this new stimili....
He must think this hay is gigantic because I did ;-)

The long road back to home........ I think this picture is so precious....he looks so small.......
Scared of the corn ;-)

Now that we are back, I am anxious to get back to work and snap away! Three shoots this week and I am so excited for them all! :-)

Minnesota Boy

After we finally made it out of the house- funny story there.....My family and I were on our way to a family reunion in Minnesota, so Mark's great-grandmother- who is 93, gets to meet Mark for the first time, and see the rest of the family. It really was a special time for us! Since we had been in the car for about 6 hours at this point, we pulled over at this pretty cool rest area and I took some cute photos of Mark running around- he was so excited to get out and RUN, and not sit in the car! We had dinner the night before w/ relatives and poor Mark got chased all around outside by his 2nd cousins and fell down- but he just got back up and chased them back laughing- he was full of energy after driving for soooo long!

This picture reminds me of Forest Gump...father and son....so special!!!!! He wouldn't let go of his stroller so we went with it ;-)
