Shhhhhh....ChooChoo.......

Carefully listening for the train- such a serious process for Mark- LOL

"Creeping" along trying to find where that choochoo sound is coming from..... or as my hubby calls this picture...."Mark running from the PoPo911".....hahahha!If you could see this- it is hilarious! He creeps around looking for the train when he hears the horn, a little frightened, but is so happy when he finally sees it go by- waving and his "checking things out face" turns into a big grin and laugh.....so cute! Below is his 'scared creep'- he almost cries! Using texture with my 'vintage b/w'Yea...I see the train- I am no longer scared!!!!

In Mark's defense, the train was literally about 30ft away- so it was LOUD!

And...not happy we have to go home for naptime ;-)

Sweet Anna and her Family...

These pictures I just worked on have that "vintage-vibe" to them...so I went with it artistically and I think they turned out adorable.....
The family and playing it up with texture on these 3 photos... Here is where she reminds me of Jean Harlow- the eyes......Little 1920's Flapper- so cute! Baby blues showing through.......
What a sweet family! Anna, born July 7th and her family are some of the nicest and kind people I have met. Baby Anna has the sweetest disposition and is such a cutie-pie in her adorable bows and headbands. She reminds me in some of her pictures of a 1920's flapper baby- if there is such a thing-wink, wink! She has the essence of an old and wise soul! I think her favorite was lying in Daddy's arms watching the sky through the trees while she drank her bottle! It was such a wonderful day for pictures at HighBanks Park this evening- cool and sunny. I hope you enjoy some of your "sneak peak". I am so happy it decided NOT to rain today- we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! I will add some over the next couple of days- you have so many beautiful photographs from our creative session. Stay tuned....

Walking....and I love this expression on Anna!
Love it!

Making bubbles.....

Mark's Beautiful Path......

My vintage fade technique and one of 3 new watermarks.......
My mocha-wash technique below I think he is such a cutie in a hat!!!!!! He finally keeps it on and LIKES it....so precious!

Here he is at Jacqueline Farms in Plain City this morning- about 10 miles away. It was on the chilly side and cloudy- with rain coming later in the day, so I wanted to get him out early before it got too wet and cold. We even have flurries in the forecast Monday- WOW! And then back up in the 50 and 60's! OK! He really enjoyed the "corn"box- filling containers with corn and dumping them. When it came time for me to get him out of there, he said "no ma".......and shakes his head back and forth and what is up with the "ma" thing.......must have some of my Southern roots ;-)

I will be adding as I have time to edit pictures of him over the last week. I am caught up now with sessions/pending orders....so I have time now to work on Mark's pictures. Thanks for all your patience and I hope it doesn't rain for our creative sessions this weekend. I know, if it does, I have you both down for sessions the following week! We will make it happen!

New Logo

Tonya, with Tonya Laurent Designs designed my new logo! I met Tonya at one of my son's playgroup date's. Not only is it nice to meet someone new, whom you love to spend time with (lots of laughing especially over Blogger being down- inside joke between Tonya and me). She first inquired about having a creative session for her son Jackson, and then mentioned she was a freelance designer. So, here we are! I initially was going to wait on this, but decided since my business will be in a magazine here in Columbus next year, it needed an official logo desigbned by a professional in that field. She designed several ones for me- ones for documents and thank you cards, website, watermarks, etc.....so thanks a bunch! It is so me with the Eiffel Tower! My hubby is like "another Eiffel Tower"...LOL. Tonya's website address is: www.laurentdesign.net

And a post isn't a post unless we post a picture. Mark at HighBanks Park trying so hard to get on the bench- note, his tongue out concentrating-LOL!

A Rare Sighting...

My mocha wash-vintage technique I thought I would post the rare picture of me......Being I am the photographer in the family, it is a rare occurrence that I am in them...not that I mind! Being like most individuals, there are few I like of myself. It was a little weird editing them too. I was quite embarrassed when the editor of the magazine asked me for family photos of all 3 of us, and some of Mark and me- we have very few. So Craig took the camera and got some of at least Mark and me. Thanks honey!!!!

Land of the Seagulls Me and Mark...so cute! This is Daddy's favorite!Ummm....do I want to post one of me from behind? LOL As my Mom has said- you will look back at old photos and think, Wow- I looked good then! LOLI always love pictures from my sessions when the children/family is walking away, so I thought I would post one of me and Mark (hubby took it). My b/w vintage technique with border overlay.

It was such a pretty day here in the Midwest- sunny and just the right temperature. Have I mentioned that I LOVE OHIO and the Midwest???? We ventured down to the River about a mile away and walked along the base. It is QUITE low right now because they are working on the dam. I will be posting more later of "Ralphie" and Daddy when I am done editing them. There are some darling pictures of the 2 of them. My husband didn't do too bad either on these- I was quite impressed! I might hire him as my assistant.

Messing with some fishing line...... until we put a stop to that :-) And the Sun at this moment was spectacular!!!!!!
Lovin' the Mohawk- hahaha! Getting sleepy!

Harvard: Student Number 3, Mark

This picture scares me- LOL! I look at it and I see him in 17 years going off to college....He looks like a "little man"- a handsome boy! All he needs is a book bag and some glasses.
Same picture/Different Look- Done with my own custom color creation- vintage with a hint of my mocha color
Jennifer's Faded Sun Technique with Texture
"Imagination is more important than knowledge"....Albert Einstein
And sometimes, pictures should just be kept in full blown color- like my last 4 on this post- my own custom color enhancements. I do not utilize "actions" in Photoshop.
Don't you just love Fall?

Yummy- sticks!

Mommy- Thanks for taking me to a tree MY size- I LOVE it!

Today, Mark and I headed right down the street to the observatory. My husband has taken Mark here at night to look at the planets, etc with our telescope. We were the only ones there so we had a ball exploring. He was quite fascinated looking at this tree.....I bet he was thinking- wow, one FINALLY my size. I was so happy I was able to capture several moments of my child exploring the world! I know I always say this with pictures of Mark, but these are some of my favorites! :-)

Follow the Leader...

This is actually a horizontal picture, but flipped once uploading onto Blogger????

Jennifer's Faded vintage with some texture

This morning, Mark and I headed to HighBanks Park right down the street. There is storyteller hour (more like storyteller 10 minutes) outside that we enjoy going to as well as, I wanted to show Mark all the beautiful color leaves falling from these amazing trees there. He was more like showing me, for I was following his lead- wink! When the wind blew, tons were falling off the trees and Mark was completely amazed...laughing and trying to catch them. Every time he would see a fellow walker/hiker, he would wave (his wave looks more like he is washing windows-ha) and say "hiiiiiiiiiiii", and give them a rock or stick- it was too cute! He even wanted to go up and down this flight of stairs on his own terms...he did it too! And of course, we had to stop by the big boy's water fountain where he got soaked playing in the water. We had a beautiful day together!
Playing in the Dog's water fountain- wink, wink!!!!
Here I am focusing on Mark's face- well as much as he would let me- LOL
....And here, his hands in the bowl......fun, fun to tell a story thru your pictures!!!!
